Irma Virginia Hernandez, born in Cuba, 1947, came to the United States in 1962, naturalized in 1971; graduated with a B.S. from Barry College, 1969; and completed her J.D. at the University of Miami, 1972; Admitted to Florida Bar in 1972 and to the Southern District of Florida Circuit Court, in 1974; while in law school, was a member of Society of Wig and Robe, Society of Bar and Gavel, Delta Theta Phi, as well as Member of law review editorial board of the University of Miami, 1971-1972.

Her professional career started as an Associate with the law firm of Sepler and Sussman, Hialeah, Florida 1970-1974; continued as partner in Sepler & Hernandez, 1974 thru 1976, and thereafter, with her own law firm 1976 thru 2005, at 215 West 49th St. Hialeah, Fl. 33012. In 2005 was a partner in Hernandez & Del Risco, P.L. until 2007, and formed the predecessor law firm of Hernandez Law Associates, P.L. in 2007, which was renamed Hernandez & Suarez P.L. in 2011.

Since being admitted to the Florida Bar Ms. Dayren L. Suarez has provided legal representation in a civil practice litigation including the areas of real property, and real property disputes, legal counseling to small businesses, general civil litigation, and personal bankruptcy.

Ms. Suarez is admitted before the Florida Bar, including the Southern Districts of Florida.

Ms. Suarez graduated and received her Juris Doctor degree from St. Thomas University School of Law in 2008. That same year she served as a Certified Legal Intern for Miami-Dade County’s State Attorney’s Office, the largest prosecutor’s office in Florida and the fourth largest in the nation. In 2006 Ms. Suarez attended the Institute for International Law in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she gained a better understanding of international law, procedure and how it affects many dual residents in South Florida. Ms. Suarez graduated with Honors from St. Thomas University where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, Bachelor of Arts in English and Bachelor of arts in Criminal Justice.
